elsold

Elsold GmbH & Co. KG

  • Elsold GmbH & Co. KG is the leading manufacturer of soldering products, especially for the automotive and electronics industries.
  • Elsold was acquired by Endurance Capital in 2012 as part of the JL Goslar Group. In 2013 the company moved to a newly built, state-of-the-art factory at the new location Ilsenburg, Saxony-Anhalt with the strategic goal of developing Elsold into an enterprise independent of the JL Goslar Group and to secure a strong market position in the long term.
  • Elsold has developed excellently in recent years, acquiring numerous new customers and significantly expanding its market position, especially in Europe. The company has achieved significant double-digit sales and earnings growth in recent years.
  • In October 2017, Endurance Capital AG sold Elsold GmbH & Co. KG to the TAMURA DEUTSCHLAND GmbH, a German holding company of the Japanese Tamura Group. The strategic investor from Japan is one of the leading Japanese manufacturers of electronic components and chemicals for industrial applications.

kokinetics

Kokinetics GmbH

  • Kokinetics GmbH, with headquarters in Kriftel (Hesse), is a leading manufacturer of structural parts for seats in the automotive sector.
  • The subsidiary, together with the management, was acquired in 2011 by means of a management buy-in. The company was fundamentally restructured and was repositioned internationally by establishing an engineering subsidiary in Detroit and acquiring a Czech manufacturing facility. Today, Kokinetics’ customers include nearly all global OEMs, as well as leading suppliers and system providers.
  • In May 2014, all shares were sold to the Chinese AVIC Electromechanical Systems Co. Ltd. This acquisition is a logical step in the evolution of both Kokinetics’ and AVICEM’s businesses. The two companies complement one another excellently and continue to provide Kokinetics with outstanding development opportunities.

Peters Bildungsgruppe

  • Peters Bildungsgruppe, headquartered in Waldkraiburg, is one of the largest providers of private continuing education in Germany.
  • Peters Bildungsgruppe offers professional training at 20 locations in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. The vocational training center in Waldkrainburg specializes in vocational integration and reintegration.
  • Endurance re-funded and restructured the company as part of insolvency proceedings. The procedure was completed in March 2011 and is considered the fastest performed in Germany.
  • The company was sold to the Quin Academy in two stages in 2013 and 2015.

Reformhaus Bacher

  • Reformhaus Bacher GmbH & Co. KG is the second largest health food store chain in Germany with 70 branches, mainly in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony.
  • Endurance invested in Reformhaus Bacher in 2008 together with NRW Bank.
  • Endurance Capital has strengthened the management and re-staffed the advisory board as well as implementing various operational restructuring measures.
  • The company was sold in 2011.

vogt

Vogt electronic AG 

  • Vogt electronic AG, based in Passau, is a global manufacturer of electronic components (such as probes) and assemblies. The products are used in automotive and industrial electronics as well as telecommunications.
  • Endurance Capital, in cooperation with a German bank and an international fund, bought out the other commercial banks at Vogt electronic, and has strategically and operationally repositioned the company. A highly deficient production site was liquidated to save the company as a whole.
  • Following successful restructuring, Vogt electronic was sold to the Japanese Sumida Group.

schaltbau

Schaltbau AG 

  • Schaltbau AG is a listed manufacturer of components and systems for traffic engineering and supplies door and boarding systems for trains and buses among other things.
  • Endurance Capital was the largest shareholder and appointed a portion of the Supervisory Board.
  • In total, 27% of the share capital was acquired in 2003 and, in 2006, sold partly on the stock exchange.
  • From a restructuring case, Schaltbau has become a solid stock market tip and has regained full creditworthiness after 3 years.
